March 5, 2025: Watkinsville, GA 30677 The Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA) baseball the visiting Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA), 9-4 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madison County for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 7. Oconee County will clash with a Red Raiders team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to East Jackson (Commerce, GA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 2-9.
With the defeat, Franklin County drops to 7-2 on the year. The Lions host Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA) to clash with the Phoenix in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 8. The Phoenix go into the challenge with a record of 2-8. Sonoraville lost 8-5 in their recent non-league challenge against South Paulding (Douglasville, GA)
