The Washington Rams baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Metro Tech Knights to 5 in the Rams non-league win on Wednesday.

The Rams now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Peoria for a non-league test on Friday, March 7. Washington will play a Panthers team coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Poston Butte (San Tan Valley, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Metro Tech drops to 0-2 on the year. The Knights host North (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Mustangs in a 5A Metro test on Tuesday, March 18. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 1-5. North lost 12-2 in their recent non-league test against North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ)
