In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Port Barre Red Devils (Port Barre, LA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Northwest Raiders (Opelousas, LA), by a tally of 9-2.

Next up, the Red Devils encounter the Lafayette Christian Academy Knights (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 7. Port Barre will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 9-5 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Acadiana (Lafayette, LA).

The Raiders (4-9) will now prepare for their bout against St. Edmund (Eunice, LA). The Fighting Blue Jays enter the non-league bout with a 5-7 record. In their last bout, St. Edmund was overwhelmed by Iota (Iota, LA), 8-7, in a non-league bout.
