March 5, 2025: Los Angeles, CA 90011 The Jefferson Democrats (Los Angeles, CA) volleyball knocked off the visiting Dr. Maya Angelou Community Phoenix (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Democrats now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Wilson for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 6. Jefferson will clash with a Mules team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to San Gabriel (San Gabriel, CA). The Mules record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Dr. Maya Angelou Community drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Phoenix travel to Diego Rivera (Los Angeles, CA) to clash with the Huskies in a Exposition bout on Friday, March 7.
