Texas High School Baseball - Liberty defeats Shallowater
March 5, 2026: Lubbock, TX 79424 The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Liberty Patriots (Lubbock, TX) and the visiting Shallowater Mustangs (Shallowater, TX), saw Liberty's baseball team gain a win over Shallowater by a tally of 8-3.
The Patriots (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Seminole (Seminole, TX). The Indians enter the non-league battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Seminole was overwhelmed by Canyon (Canyon, TX), 4-2, in a non-league contest.
The Mustangs now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burges for a non-league contest on Friday, March 6. Shallowater will confront a Mustangs squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Bel Air (El Paso, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-5.
