Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA) and the host Aquinas Fightin' Irish (Augusta, GA), saw Academy for Classical Education's baseball squad knock off Aquinas by a count of 9-7.

Coming up next, the Gryphons play the Lamar County Trojans (Barnesville, GA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 8. Academy for Classical Education will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record.
