Arkansas High School Baseball - Rogers nips Jonesboro
March 6, 2021: Rogers, AR 72758 Rogers Mountaineers (Rogers, AR) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Jonesboro Hurricane (Jonesboro, AR), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Rogers moves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Mountaineers travel to Collinsville (Collinsville, OK) to play the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 9. The Cardinals enter the battle with a record of 1-0.
The Hurricane now possess a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Batesville for a 5A East battle on Tuesday, April 6.
