Texas High School Softball - Rockwall Rains
March 6, 2021: Emory, TX 75440 In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Rains Wildcats softball team scored a close 4-0 win over the Rockwall Yellowjackets.
The Wildcats now own a 14-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grand Saline for a 3A Region II District 12 challenge on Tuesday, March 9. Rains will face a Indians squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Atlanta (Atlanta, TX). The Indians record now stands at 10-3.
With the loss, Rockwall falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Tyler Legacy (Tyler, TX) to face the Raiders in a 6A Region II District 10 challenge on Monday, March 8. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 9-2. Tyler Legacy lost 15-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Hallsville (Hallsville, TX)
