Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC), 6-1 in a league test.

With the win, Piedmont Community Charter upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Patriots host North Hills Christian (Salisbury, NC) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, March 9. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-1. North Hills Christian lost 11-0 in their recent non-league test against Thomasville (Thomasville, NC)
