Illinois High School Basketball - Metamora tops Marmion
March 6, 2023: Aurora, IL 60502 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Metamora Redbirds (Metamora, IL) and the host Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL), saw Metamora's basketball squad knock off Marmion by a count of 60-48.
With the victory, Metamora upgrades its record to 32-2 on the campaign. The Redbirds travel to East St. Louis (East St. Louis, IL) to play the Flyers in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 10. The Flyers come into the challenge with a record of 25-8. East St. Louis won 59-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL)
