In Monday's league battle, the Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) lacrosse squad routed the host Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC), by a count of 16-1.

Coming up next, the Patriots clash with the Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) in a battle, on Tuesday, March 7. Pinecrest will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Bears come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 9-7 non-league loss to Cleveland (Clayton, NC).

The Vikings now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cape Fear for a United 8/All American/Sandhills battle on Thursday, March 9. Union Pines will clash with a Colts squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC). The Colts record now stands at 2-1.
