In Monday's non-league game, the Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) softball team overwhelmed the host Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC), by a margin of 11-0.

With the triumph, Montgomery Central moves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Timberwolves host Anson (Wadesboro, NC) to clash with the Bearcats in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 7.
