High School Softball - Newman International Academy bounces Varsity Opponent
March 6, 2023: , Newman International Academy Warriors (Arlington, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Varsity Opponent (, ), 17-13 in a non-league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakehill Prep for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 7.
With the loss, Varsity Opponent falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The travel to Bishop Verot (Fort Myers, FL) to battle the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 9.
