March 6, 2024: Gaffney, SC 29341 The Riverside Warriors got by the host Gaffney Indians softball squad by a final score of 9-8 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Warriors (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Blue Ridge (Greer, SC). The Fighting Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Blue Ridge nudged Landrum (Landrum, SC), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
The Indians now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they host James F. Byrnes for a AAAAA Region 2 battle on Friday, March 8. Gaffney will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 11-2 non-league win over Clover (Clover, SC). The Rebels record now stands at 2-0.
