March 6, 2025: Woodruff, SC 29388 The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers (Greer, SC) and the host Woodruff Wolverines (Woodruff, SC), saw Blue Ridge's baseball team gain a win over Woodruff by a tally of 13-3.
The Fighting Tigers (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Greenville Hurricanes (Greenville, SC). The Hurricanes enter the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Greenville Hurricanes prevailed over Providence Athletic Club (Columbia, SC), 5-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Wolverines face the Fountain Inn Fury (Fountain Inn, SC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 7. Woodruff will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Fury enter the battle with a 3-1 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC).
