The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC) and the visiting Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC), saw Central Academy's baseball team gain a win over Lincolnton by a tally of 12-2.

The Cougars (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, North Mecklenburg was overwhelmed by Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC), 13-9, in a non-league battle.
