In Thursday's non-league bout, the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins (Vallejo, CA) baseball squad edged the host De Anza Dons (El Sobrante, CA), by a tally of 7-6.

Next up, the Bruins encounter the St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots (Alameda, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 8. St. Patrick-St. Vincent will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Pilots enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Saint Mary's (Albany, CA).

The Dons (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA). The Pirates enter the non-league bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Pittsburg edged Washington (Fremont, CA), 7-3, in a non-league bout.
