The East Gaston Warriors baseball squad (Mt. Holly, NC), was overwhelmed 20-5 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC)

With the triumph, South Point moves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Red Raiders travel to North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC) to confront the Knights in a non-league contest on Friday, March 7. The Knights come into the contest with a record of 1-4. North Lincoln lost 13-6 in their recent non-league contest against Asheville (Asheville, NC)

The Warriors now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland Tech for a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A contest on Friday, March 7. East Gaston will confront a Rams squad coming off a 8-7 league loss to East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC). The Rams record now stands at 2-2.
