The Northwest Rankin Cougars baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Grenada Chargers to 2 in the Cougars non-league win on Thursday.

The Cougars now hold a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host West Monroe for a non-league test on Saturday, March 8.

With the defeat, Grenada drops to 6-3 on the year. The Chargers host Cleveland Central (Cleveland, MS) to play the Wolves in a non-league test on Friday, March 7.
