The Mt. Shasta Bears baseball team scored 3 runs and held the host Loyalton Grizzlies to 2 in the Bears non-league win on Thursday.

The Bears now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Quincy for a non-league test on Saturday, March 8. Mt. Shasta will play a Trojans team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Willows (Willows, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Loyalton drops to 0-2 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Portola (Portola, CA) to play the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, March 8. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 2-1. Portola won 6-3 in their recent non-league test against Burney (Burney, CA)
