March 6, 2025: Birmingham, AL 35242 The Wicksburg Panthers baseball squad (Newton, AL), was overwhelmed 9-5 in Thursday's non-league bout with the host Oak Mountain Eagles (Birmingham, AL)
Next up, the Eagles encounter the Bibb County Choctaws (Centreville, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 7. Oak Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Choctaws enter the bout with a 8-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Sipsey Valley (Buhl, AL).
The Panthers (6-3) will now prepare for their bout against Etowah (Attalla, AL). The Blue Devils enter the non-league bout with a 6-5 record. In their last bout, Etowah was overwhelmed by Briarwood Christian (Birmingham, AL), 8-4, in a non-league bout.
