In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Stanton County Trojans basketball team scored a close 49-47 triumph over the Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs.

The Trojans (15-7) will now prepare for their contest against Sterling (Sterling, KS). The Black Bears go into the non-league contest with a 18-3 record. In their last contest, Sterling nipped Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, KS), 67-27, in a non-league contest.
