In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Redwood Giants lacrosse squad scored a tight 14-8 triumph over the Monte Vista Mustangs.

The Giants (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Amador Valley (Pleasanton, CA). The Dons go into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Amador Valley was overwhelmed by Del Oro (Loomis, CA), 12-7, in a non-league contest.
