March 6, 2025: Monticello, AR 71655 Monticello Billies (Monticello, AR) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Hope Bobcats (Hope, AR), 4-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Monticello moves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Billies host Lonoke (Lonoke, AR) to meet the Jackrabbits in a 4A East test on Monday, March 10. The Jackrabbits come into the test with a record of 1-0. Lonoke won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Westside (Jonesboro, AR)
The Bobcats now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mena for a 4A South test on Tuesday, March 18.
