Georgia High School Soccer - Luella knocks off Stone Mountain

In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Luella Lions soccer squad scored a nice 10-0 victory over the Stone Mountain Pirates.

The Lions (5-3) will now prepare for their match against North Clayton (College Park, GA). The Eagles come into the 3A Region 5 match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, North Clayton was overwhelmed by Riverdale (Riverdale, GA), 3-1, in a league match.

The Pirates now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Douglass for a 3A Region 5 match on Tuesday, March 11. Stone Mountain will meet a Astros team coming off a 5-0 league loss to Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA). The Astros record now stands at 0-3.
