The Mount Pleasant Tigers baseball team scored 16 runs and held the host Central Cabarrus Vikings to 0 in the Tigers non-league win on Thursday.

The Tigers now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host West Stanly for a non-league test on Friday, March 7. Mount Pleasant will clash with a Colts team coming off a 12-0 non-league win over South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Colts record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Central Cabarrus drops to 2-2 on the year. The Vikings travel to South Rowan (China Grove, NC) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 1-0.
