March 6, 2025: Apex, NC 27502 The Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) lacrosse nudged the host Apex Cougars (Apex, NC), 4-3 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Screaming Eagle now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Laney for a non-league outing on Monday, March 10. Ashley will face a Buccaneers squad coming off a 17-0 non-league win over South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Apex falls to 1-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC) to face the Tigers in a non-league outing on Friday, March 7.
