March 6, 2025: Fort Payne, AL 35967 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Fort Payne Wildcats (Fort Payne, AL) and the visiting Crossville Lions (Crossville, AL), saw Fort Payne's soccer squad knock off Crossville by a score of 3-0.
The Wildcats (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Gadsden City (Gadsden, AL). The Titans enter the battle with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Gadsden City nudged Albertville (Albertville, AL), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
With the loss, Crossville moves to 4-2 on the year. The Lions travel to Homewood (Homewood, AL) to encounter the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 11. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 11-1. Homewood won 5-1 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Michael Catholic (Fairhope, AL)
