The Parkwood Wolf Pack overwhelmed the visiting Anson Bearcats softball squad by a count of 17-6 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Wolf Pack meet the Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 7. Parkwood will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Warriors go into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 11-2 non-league win over Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC).

The Bearcats (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Mount Pleasant was routed by Mooresville (Mooresville, NC), 7-5, in a non-league challenge.
