In Thursday's league test, the Pasco Pirates (Dade City, FL) softball squad overwhelmed the host Central Bears (Brooksville, FL), by a tally of 10-1.

Next, the Pirates meet the Sunlake Seahawks (Land O' Lakes, FL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, March 11. Pasco will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Seahawks go into the test with a 7-1 record after their 7-5 non-league win over Nature Coast Tech (Brooksville, FL).

The Bears (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Lecanto (Lecanto, FL). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Lecanto toppled Citrus (Inverness, FL), 6-1, in a league test.
