The Princeton Bulldogs overwhelmed the host Hobbton Wildcats softball squad by a count of 15-5 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Southern Wayne Saints (Dudley, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 7. Princeton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Saints go into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 19-4 non-league loss to Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC).

The Wildcats (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC). The Titans go into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Heide Trask toppled Northside - Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC), 23-1, in a non-league challenge.
