Arkansas High School Softball - Mayflower bounces South Side
March 6, 2025: Mayflower, AR 72106 The Mayflower Eagles softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting South Side Hornet to 0 in the Eagles non-league win on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vilonia for a non-league battle on Friday, March 7. Mayflower will confront a Eagles team coming off a 18-7 non-league loss to Cabot (Cabot, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, South Side moves to 0-1 on the season. The Hornet host Carlisle (Carlisle, AR) to confront the Bison in a non-league battle on Friday, March 7. The Bison come into the battle with a record of 0-2. Carlisle 0-0 in their recent non-league battle against Lonoke (Lonoke, AR)
