The Millbrook Wildcats softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Wake Prep Academy Guardians to 7 in the Wildcats non-league win on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sanderson for a non-league battle on Monday, March 10. Millbrook will confront a Spartans team coming off a 17-1 non-league loss to Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Wake Prep Academy moves to 0-3 on the season. The Guardians travel to Durham School of the Arts (Durham, NC) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Monday, March 10.
