Texas High School Softball - Yoakum bounces St. Paul
March 6, 2025: Shiner, TX 77984 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Yoakum Bulldogs (Yoakum, TX) and the host St. Paul Cardinals (Shiner, TX), observed Yoakum's softball team prevail over St. Paul by a tally of 14-3.
The Bulldogs (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Rice Consolidated (Altair, TX). The Raiders go into the 3A Region IV District 25 bout with a 1-13 record. In their last bout, Rice Consolidated was routed by Hallettsville (Hallettsville, TX), 18-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Smithville Tigers (Smithville, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 8. St. Paul will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 13-4 record after their 16-1 non-league win over Brazos (Wallis, TX).
