Valley View Blazers (Jonesboro, AR) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Westside Warriors (Jonesboro, AR), 9-3 in a non-league match.

The Blazers (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Gosnell (Gosnell, AR). The Pirates come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Gosnell nipped Walnut Ridge (Walnut Ridge, AR), 1-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Warriors confront the Trumann Wildcats (Trumann, AR) in a non-league match, on Monday, March 10. Westside will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
