The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Eupora Eagles (Eupora, MS) and the host West Point Green Wave (West Point, MS), saw Eupora's baseball team gain a win over West Point by a tally of 8-4.

The Eagles (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against Houston (Houston, MS). The Hilltoppers enter the non-league battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Houston was overwhelmed by New Albany (New Albany, MS), 4-1, in a non-league battle.

The Green Wave now possess a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph Catholic for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 10. West Point will confront a Bruins squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS). The Bruins record now stands at 4-7.
