Louisiana High School Softball - Sam Houston bested by Walker
March 6, 2026: Walker, LA 70785 The Walker Wildcats triumphed over the visiting Sam Houston Broncos softball squad by a count of 14-3 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Wildcats now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Live Oak for a 5A District 5 battle on Tuesday, March 10. Walker will confront a Eagles team coming off a 10-9 non-league loss to Lutcher (Lutcher, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-4.
With the loss, Sam Houston moves to 8-2 on the season. The Broncos travel to Prairieville (Prairieville, LA) to confront the Hurricanes in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 7. The Hurricanes come into the battle with a record of 6-5. Prairieville lost 7-3 in their recent league battle against Walker (Walker, LA)
