The Queen's Grant Stallions baseball team (Matthews, NC), was overwhelmed 20-1 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the host Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC)

The Patriots now hold a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Charlotte Catholic for a Southwestern 4A outing on Tuesday, March 14. Independence will confront a Cougars team coming off a 5-2 league loss to Providence (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 4-1.

Next, the Stallions confront the Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) in a Metro Eight 1A outing, on Tuesday, March 14. Queen's Grant will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record.
