In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Xavier Saints basketball team scored a good 49-38 triumph over the Hoover Huskies.

In their next game, the Saints meet the Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders (Sioux City, IA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, March 9. Xavier will attempt to move on its 20-7 season record. The Crusaders enter the match with a 18-6 record after their 68-59 non-league win over Marion (Marion, IA).

With the defeat, Hoover moves to 16-11 on the year.
