March 7, 2023: Brooklet, GA 30415 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets (Brooklet, GA) and the visiting Screven County Gamecocks (Sylvania, GA), saw Southeast Bulloch's soccer squad knock off Screven County by a margin of 3-0.
The Yellow Jackets now sport a 9-0 record. They play next when they host New Hampstead for a 4A Region 3 test on Thursday, March 9. Southeast Bulloch will meet a Phoenix squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Battery Creek (Beaufort, SC). The Phoenix record now stands at 2-6.
With the loss, Screven County drops to 8-1 on the season. The Gamecocks travel to Metter (Metter, GA) to meet the Tigers in a 1A D-I Region 3 test on Friday, March 10. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-5. Metter won 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Jefferson County (Louisville, GA)
