California High School Softball - Saugus bounces Valencia
March 7, 2023: Valencia, CA 91355 Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Valencia Vikings (Valencia, CA), 12-1 in a league challenge.
The Centurions now own a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Ranch for a challenge on Thursday, March 9. Saugus will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 10-6 non-league win over Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Valencia falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Rio Mesa (Oxnard, CA) to battle the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 8. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. Rio Mesa lost 6-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Newbury Park (Newbury Park, CA)
