March 7, 2023: Kershaw, SC 29067 The Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) soccer nudged the host Andrew Jackson Volunteers (Kershaw, SC), 5-4 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
With the win, Catawba Ridge moves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Copperheads host South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC) to battle the Stallions in a AAAA Region 3 bout on Friday, March 10. The Stallions go into the bout with a record of 1-5. South Pointe won 7-1 in their recent non-league bout against Lewisville (Richburg, SC)
In their next game, the Volunteers battle the York Prep Patriots (Rock Hill, SC) in a AA Region 4 bout, on Wednesday, March 15. Andrew Jackson will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC).
