The Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers (Rock Hill, SC) softball routed the host Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC), 12-3 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Lancers (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC). The Rebels go into the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, James F. Byrnes toppled Woodruff (Woodruff, SC), 9-0, in a non-league bout.

The Lions now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hickory Grove Christian for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 9. Covenant Day will confront a Lions squad coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Providence Day (Charlotte, NC). The Lions record now stands at 3-4.
