Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ) and the host Ironwood Eagles (Glendale, AZ), witnessed Higley's softball squad tip Ironwood by a count of 7-0.

The Knights now sport a 12-3 record. They play next when they host Notre Dame Prep for a non-league match on Thursday, March 9. Higley will face a Saints squad coming off a 9-2 non-league loss to Centennial (Peoria, AZ). The Saints record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Ironwood moves to 4-4 on the season. The Eagles host Youngker (Buckeye, AZ) to face the Roughriders in a non-league match on Thursday, March 9.
