Mannford Pirates (Mannford, OK) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Morrison Wildcats (Morrison, OK), 8-7 in a non-league test.

With the win, Mannford upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Pirates travel to Pryor (Pryor, OK) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, March 9. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 5-0. Pryor won 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Fort Gibson (Fort Gibson, OK)

With the defeat, Morrison falls to 1-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Stroud (Stroud, OK) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, March 8. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 4-0. Stroud won 14-4 in their recent non-league test against Stratford (Stratford, OK)
