North Carolina High School Soccer - Gaston Christian knocks off Corvian Community
March 7, 2024: Gastonia, NC 28056 Gaston Christian Eagles (Gastonia, NC) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Hickory Christian Academy Knights (Hickory, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 12. Gaston Christian will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC).
The Cardinals now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln Charter for a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A challenge on Monday, March 11. Corvian Community will confront a Eagles team coming off a 0-0 non-league East Lincoln (Denver, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 0-0.
