The Samson Tigers routed the visiting Daleville Warhawks softball squad by a final score of 18-8 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Tigers (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Geneva County (Hartford, AL). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Area 2 battle with a 2-5 record.

The Warhawks now possess a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Northside Methodist Academy for a AISA AA Region 1 battle on Monday, March 11. Daleville will confront a Knights squad coming off a 9-4 league loss to Ashford (Ashford, AL). The Knights record now stands at 2-7.
