The Mulberry Panthers got by the visiting Davenport Broncos softball squad by a count of 5-4 in Thursday's league battle.

The Panthers (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against San Marcos (San Marcos, TX). The Rattlers go into the non-league battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, San Marcos was edged by Clemens (Schertz, TX), 4-0, in a league battle.
