Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Desert Oasis Diamondbacks (Las Vegas, NV), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Raiders now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trabuco Hills for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 8. Reed will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over St. Mary's (Stockton, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Desert Oasis falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Diamondbacks travel to Carson (Carson, CA) to face the Colts in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 8.
