The Fontana Steelers routed the host Hoover Tornados softball squad by a final score of 14-1 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Steelers (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Moreno Valley (Moreno Valley, CA). The Vikings go into the non-league battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Moreno Valley was routed by San Gorgonio (San Bernardino, CA), 8-6, in a non-league battle.

The Tornados now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they host St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 9.
